Put an object at a place. Note the magnitude of the force required to 
keep it there, and the direction.

Move in the direction of the force until another object stays where it 
is placed.

The second object is at the centre of rotation.

Apply f = ω^2 * r * m

where f is the force on the first object, ω is the angular velocity, r 
is the distance between the two objects, and m is the mass of the first 
object.

You now know the angular velocity and centre of rotation.
