has a very large '% Atmospheric Transmission' at those infrared

That also happens to be the reason why increasing CO2 concentration
won't cause global warming, instead causing global *cooling* as has
been experimentally proven, you anti-science half-wit. The energy CO2
absorbs get converted in part to the wavelength of the infrared
atmospheric window, and if it isn't, it gets reabsorbed and re-emitted
until it *is* converted to that wavelength, whereupon it gets chucked
out to space. A higher concentration of CO2 speeds that process up.
CO2 is not a greenhouse gas, it lags solar and orbital forcing-induced
temperature change by 600 to 1000 years, it emits partly at the
infrared atmospheric window (and what it doesn't emit at that window
gets reabsorbed and re-emitted until it _is_ emitted at the infrared
atmospheric window), and experiment has proven that increasing CO2
concentration causes increased *cooling* on the night side of the
planet and thus net global cooling, just as the high CO2 concentration
on Mars (more than 2000 times Earth's CO2 concentration, and 14 times
the partial pressure) causes wide day/night temperature swings.
If the "runaway greenhouse" theory was correct, with the CO2 partial
pressure of Mars being 14 times that of Earth's, Mars would be a
hothouse despite it receiving only 1/4th the solar insolation... but
that's not the case, Mars has a mean temperature of ~-80F. Even at the
equator, where temperature can get to ~+70 F on a summer day, at night
it can still reach ~-100 F.
