E-Mails oder Briefe kann man sich schenken, darauf bekommt man ohnehin keine Antwort oder wenn überhaupt, dann von einem Textautomaten. Dass es auch anders ging, habe ich in zwei Fällen erlebt. Eine Fuji ST901 (Kleinbildkamera) hatte einen Defekt ab Werk, nach Reparatureinsendung kam sie mit demselben Fehler zurück. Irgendwie bin ich in Zeiten vor Internet an die Anschrift des CEO in Tokio gelangt und mein Luftpostbrief hat unerwarteten Wirbel verursacht. Nach extrem kurzer Zeit bekam ich von der deutschen Niederlassung vorab eine neue Kamera und eine Wiedergutmachung (IIRC in Form von etlichen Filmen), sowie Entschuldigungsschreiben von dort und auch direkt vom CEO aus Japan. Der zweite Fall betraf Mängel an Brillenfassungen einer neuen Serie von Rodenstock. Mein an die Geschäftsführung adressiertes Schreiben wurde sowohl vom Prokuristen und zusätzlich vom Inhaber Prof. Rolf Rodenstock eigenhändig beantwortet, die Mängel sofort abgestellt. Das ist lange her; wäre das heute noch denkbar? Ich glaube nicht. Jürgen
