Note that the "Made in..." only says where the final assembly step was done
(i.e., where die was moulded in the package), not where the die was made.
Otherwise almost all NXP small-signal diodes and BJTs would be "made in
Germany." It's very possble that your parts came from different batches from
the same waferfab, and some happened to be assembled in HK and the others in
mainland China.
