I have stored that from diyaudio.com: ====== Thread Home > Forums > Design & Build > Parts NXP BF862 warning I got two batches (100 pcs. each) of BF862 low noise n-channel jfets, from two different providers (DigiKey Corp. | Electronic Components Distributor | United Kingdom Home Page and Mouser Electronics - Electronic Components Distributor). Both are 100% genuine NXP parts, the only difference being the origin. One batch is marked 2Aw (w stands for China) and the other 2Ap (p stands for Hong Kong). While they both have the noise floor @100KHz as per the datasheet (~0.8nV/rtHz), the Chinese parts have significantly larger noise corner frenquency (~2KHz) compared to the HK parts (<500Hz). Therefore, the Cninese parts have about twice the noise of the HK parts, @1KHz. Devices in both batches have essentially the same average Idss of about 16mA. ====== I never got 2Ap parts, only 2Aw, have tried several sources. Mine were closely centered around Idss=12 mA, 16 pcs. at 44mA total deliver 10 dB below 1nV/rtHz (60 Ohm thermal) or abt 320 pV/rtHz. I found a 1/f corner at 1.5 KHz which fits the cited text. This is the test board: 16*BF862 or 2* IF3602 duals, Zetex cascode, AD4898s for 80 dB from 0.1 Hz to 1MHz. Feedback to 0.25 Ohm source R, neg. bias via 100 Meg to gate. < https://www.flickr.com/photos/137684711@N07/ > , somewhere near the top. I have bad cell phone reception at the moment and cannot load the flickr page in finite time. regards, Gerhard
