If the machines reading the biometrics are accurate. All very big ifs.... I have tried using my biometric passport at international border controls. It SUCKS. The error rate is as high as 30%, because simple stuff like wearing glasses or having long hair that covers your eyebrows confuses the recognition system. Have your eyes lasered to correct short-sightedness or a cornea replaced, and the machines will no longer recognise you. So you want everybody to identify themselves with biometric data every time they buy something over the internet from abroad? So every Paypal user will have to send over his passport every time they pay someone across the border? Do you WANT to ruin the US economy?
