There is some of that, but there also has to be an element of kookishness.

Like Wollmann.  He was always netkkkopping...and would get more and more 
frustrated when people didn't take him seriously.  Once was in regard to 
the famous "pantihed" banner ad, with him wearing a badly 'shopped pair 
of panties on his head.  Ah, memories.

But no, I don't think there's anything particularly kooky about opening a 
discussion of enforcing a big-8 group's charter.  A serious argument 
could be had one way or the other.

But if it were an alt.* group, that would probably be cuckoo.

Finally, I'll point out that vv down there vv in the snubbery, you'll 
find one of the longest-standing trolls in the group responded with 
threats.
