Ich bin neugierig auf neues, sonst hätte ich hier noch MS-DOS 2.0 wie 
vor dreißig Jahren am Laufen. :-)

Hauptgrund: neues Notebook, Win 8.1 war vorinstalliert, mit dem ich 
nichts zu tun haben wollte (unsägliches UI bei Win 8, mit Win 8.1. habe 
ich mich daher bewusst nicht befasst). Bin dann sofort "testweise" auf 
Win 10 umgestiegen. Bisher habe ich nur gute Erfahrungen damit gemacht. 
Meine "Hauptmaschine" (Desktop) werde ich daher auch bald umstellen.

Andererseits: warum soll ich bewährtes "altes Zeux" rauswerfen, hatte 
auch zuvor die von MS angebotenen Programme für Web und Mail nicht 
genutzt, sondern die Alternativen von Mozilla und Vorgänger.

Warum sollte ich? Seit Win 95 habe ich von MS praktisch immer nur das 
Betriebssystem genutzt (Ausnahme: MS Office), für alles andere gibt es 
auch von anderen Anbietern schöne Töchter.

Was aber nicht ausschließt, das ich mir mal die eine oder andere App 
(Wetter, Nachrichten) anschauen werde ...
