Yep, sorry. Should at least have added an <OT> marker. And that
paragraph was just the result of lazily considering things that
could possibly be done and then xgo wrong;-)

Before discussing that any further (and then in comp.unix.programming,
of course;-) I'd rather take a good look at the available documentation
resources as I've also rarely had to use setrlimit() for anything non-
trivial...
