Many times, the mail domain and the web domain are the same, for example 
(as we are just make examples, we use example.net/org/com as those are 
dedicated to be used for just examples) we have someones email address:

person.name@example.net

remove everything before and including '@'.

Then just visiting http://example.net will lead you to the web site 
which is associated with the mail domain. Of course this will not work 
for all mail addresses, as most people with an gmail address will not 
have anything else to do with gmail than being customers.
