Forth Code can have attain a fully meaningful Certificate of Conformity 
which is as sound as the CofC applied to hardware components. The process by 
which this is applied requires that each component is subject to inspection 
for compliance against the specification for functionality, quality and 
operability within defined limits.

I am not sure if Roger Levy's link was for something in NI's LabView or not 
(detail a bit too small to be sure). LabView is one such graphically 
represented programming environment. The components graphical representation 
is probably a significant proportion of the programmers view programming. 
The function compiled could be quite insignificant in comparison.

The question would be whether or not the overhead is worth it.
