Again, why do you want to do that. Yes, the quickest way to move 1000 positions is just use 1000 states to do so, but I know of know practical case where you would want to do so. The 'shorter' methods that were being talked about would execute in more time (much more) but with fewer states (much fewer). You will notice that these UTMs definitely don't need to do such a strange thing.
