Indeed not. I've seen iDevices - my blind friends have them; they're nice and work well (though I think either OS it's largely a matter of familiarity), but the cost is indeed phenomenal. I don't know the underlying cost of the hardware, but for PCs, I know Apple gear is about 3-4 times the cost of the equivalent on Windows, so I assume the 'phones are similar (though look to be even more). > > What to do with the superseded phones?
