To really feel Snitty you have to insult from a position of ignorance, 
then double down when you're exposed as being ignorant, then lie about 
others, or lie about what you knew or when you knew it, then half-ass 
apologize or half-ass admit your mistake, then use the half-ass apology 
or half-ass admittance for years as "proof" (in your own mind) that 
you're honest and honorable and admit to your ignorance or mistakes.

This kind of behavior is one of the reasons Snit is universally reviled.

He did it in the EXIF thread, and he did it to a slightly lesser degree 
in various threads related to public key encryption in Sep 2016:

More insults based on his blatant, sextupled-down-on ignorance.  But at 
some point after this Snit must've read up on the topic or seen owl's 
explanation, because in late Aug 2017 (11 months later) he whimpered and 
relented and partially admitted he was pwned beyond redemption.

But this half-assed confession of ignorance by someone who claims he is 
"honest about things" and "owns it" is full of lies and twists of reality:


* zero apologies for the many insults based on his ignorance

* it wasn't "a silly error" or "a couple stupid" comments - it was at
   least 6.

* the only ignorance he admits to is "I did not know you could encode
   them to multiple people's public keys."  But that was never in
   question - no one ever claimed otherwise.  In the EXIF thread the
   issue never in question was his babbling that "JPG files can have EXIF
   data."  No one ever claimed differently.  But Snit uses these
   ridiculous lies or twists to distract from or minimize his
   embarrassment.


The real problem in these crypto discussions was that Snit was 
completely ignorant of every facet of public key (asymmetric) 
cryptography, yet continued to post insult after insult as if he knew 
how it worked.  And, as far as I know, Snit has never apologized to this 
day for insulting several people based on his own ignorance.

Slimer, I hope this example has provided you a deeper understanding of 
"feeling Snitty".
