more is if they are decent choices. If the software works well.

Yes, usually better to use native software... something that uses the
benefits of the system you are on.

Tried the link for the review. Seems down right now. Curious about what they
might mean by "Linux-like" methods. It was first a Mac program what was
ported to Windows and then later Linux (and then only in beta format). Even
then they took out features and benefits to make it work on the lowest
common denominator.

I played with it for just a bit... the UI is *bad* in terms of working with
the system. But if it is a key part of your workflow I am sure you can get
used to it.
