And yet they do not show themselves to be disabled - they simply do not
work. They are not grayed out, for example.

That is a flaw in the UI.

The fact is things change a lot. The same UI element does different things.
For example, as I showed, the Start Button does different things... with the
functionality in the Desktop mode being spread between different icons in
Tablet mode.

I also noted the icons that do not even work (such as the "Restore Down"
button). Just broken... not grayed out or anything else to indicate they do
not work.

You said this was much like iOS. When asked for example of this you never
came up with any. In other words: you pretended to be knowledgeable about
things you were not.

So they care about SOME, maybe even MOST, of the commonly used software they
ship with Windows 10 but not all. OK. Why do you play games and no just say
