Thus, snow emits at 10.6168 to ~12.7419 micron, a narrow 2.1251 micron window. This accounts for the great majority of temperatures seen. Outside the ~11-micron infrared atmospheric window, snow wouldn't even "see" the ~3K of space due to atmospheric absorption at those associated wavelengths, thus snow blackbody emission drops off outside the ~11-micron infrared atmospheric window, making your blather about "most of it is outside the 11 micron atmospheric window" especially stoooopid.
