I have a couple of P1 Toshiba laptops (430CDS) that still work fine
(plugged in; batteries are defunct) running Slackware 10.0.  Last time
I wanted to use one away from home (which is why I have them), the
PCMCIA wireless card failed to connect to the cafe's server. Card
works at home; maybe server didn't support 802.11b. So Now I need
something newer. But not because the Toshi hardware has failed.
