And they are not the same when continue is used in the loop. Or when
statement1 or statement2 are actual statements are not just expression
statements. In fact it would be better not to talk about statement[12]
at all but
exp1;
while (exp2) {
...
exp3;
}
being similar to
for (exp1; exp2; exp3) {
...
}
and then explain the form
for (declaration exp2; exp3) {
}
separately.
