Yes.  Why are you using C?  It looks like this is the kind of program at
which a simple scripting language excels.  (This is a genuine question.
I'm interested in why people use C and for what.  Often it's just to try
it out, but maybe you have some other reason.)

By the way, C also has a sort function called qsort.
