 Ich glaube, da hast du etwas missverstanden.  Der Spruch gilt nicht 
 für Anwender.  Er bezieht sich auf Systemadministratoren.

 Wenn ein Anwender zum Systemadministrator kommt und sagt «Ich kann 
 mich grafisch nicht mehr einloggen, nur noch an der virtuellen 
 Konsole textorientiert und auch aus der Ferne per ‹ssh›.  Ach ja, 
 das Problem tritt auf, seitdem ich ‹xkbset-gui› habe laufen lassen.  
 Kannst du mal schauen, was da los ist?», dann wird der 
 Systemadministrator nicht sagen: «Probieren wir dasselbe mal vom 
 ‹root›‐Account aus.  Vielleicht funktioniert's da».
