My friends prefer a link that doesn't use space. And I have been doing this for about two years, works fine. It doesn't matter if the link doesn't work next month. Embedding they certainly do not like, uses space. Pasting the link is cumbersome, they have to click on it. It doesn't matter that marketers abuse the system.
