A few weeks ago I partitioned & installed openSUSE 13.2 on a friend's desktop (he's an accountant) which was running W8 "Tiles". I copied all the files across from W8 onto the openSUSE partition. He was already using LibreOffice 5, (which I'd replaced M$Orifice with) so those files were no problem. He's been using openSUSE ever since & likes it.
