| Subject | $FD6A,.. etc GETLIN and his pals... |
| From | jcullenhome@comcast.net |
Just curious... The GETLIN routine at $FD6A, or it's other entry points, stores the input string at page 2 ($0200). It seems that the 1st 5 bytes of that location are always clobbered after I call this. I'm wondering if it's basic.system that's killing it? None of the documentation that I've read mentions any warnings, etc.. from old manuals up to the IIgs Tech reference. Has anyone seen this? I have not tried it direct as a .sys, and I've not tried DOS 3.3.. I don't care if I have to write my own input routine, this is just haunting me. :)
