It's easy when you do your bookkeeping, but there are a lot of sloppy
programmers. When these same sloppy programmers switch from C to a
slop-friendly language, they create fewer memory leaks, but a lot more
bloat.
Personally, I would advocate letting only careful programmers program in
C, and push sloppy programmers in the direction of, say, Python, but the
problem is that sloppy programmers generally don't understand that
they're being sloppy.
