Die Alliierten hatten die Macht zu bestimmen wieviel in Deutschland von was produziert wurde und taten das auch. Bei Stahl z.B. haette Deutschland ein vielfaches produzieren koennen. Stahl wurde damals in Deutschland und Europa gebraucht, in Deutschland waeren die Anlagen und das Personal da gewesen um diesen produzieren zu koennen. Aber von wegen Morgenthau-Plan setzte man eine sehr niedrige Produktionsmenge und schloss, bzw. zerstoerte "ueberfluessige" Stahlwerke, damit Deutschland nicht genug zum exportieren hatte und die Bevoelkerung hungert - und anderswo im Ausland die Landwirtschaft die genug produzieren koennte um auch Deutschland zu ernaehren ebenfalls weniger produziert. Das war insgesamt nicht sinnvoll, und es dauerte 2 Jahre bis man diesen "Fehler" korrigierte.
