Every park needs a 30 foot waterfall for kids to play under. Free boat rides.Free ice cream. To hot for the beach. It was hotter in Vegas last Summer, but nice and cool at Circus Circus.Vegas has the most street people living in churches in the USA. Vote in GOPers and every city in USA will be Vegas. We are now in global warming and a shift in wind direction. Is El Nino more off shore? The jet stream higher up? Are flash floods more common in Texas? Are ocean current changing? Is warm Pacific water meeting warmer shore? All this can make changes in LA weather. We need dark black low clouds with a cold wind.We just don't have the right stuff for heavy rain. Trebert The record high for Huntington Beach in September is 107 degrees and was set in 1963. The record high for September 9 was 91 set in 1984. The unofficial high for today was 93. Most rain occurs in Jan, Feb, and Mar. So just a more or less typical day. -- Jim Pennino
