the ability for one app to link to another app is available for anyone
to use.

apple is not blocking anything.

nothing i said was incorrect. absolutely *nothing*. 

i said that apps can link to apps other than apple's maps app and that
is 100% correct. i even provided a link how it's done.

perhaps it's too technical for you to understand. there' nothing wrong
with that. not everyone understands how to write ios apps.

just don't tell someone they're wrong when you haven't any clue about
what you're talking about.

yes there are, and you were told of not just one app that currently
implements it, but *two* so far. 

therefore, you are lying.

as i said, not necessarily. 

although cut/paste will usually work (but not always), an app *can*
link to google's maps app as well as other maps apps.

and it's not limited to just maps either.

any app can create its own custom url scheme for just about anything,
and then other apps can use it if it's appropriate.

bullshit.

others have already mentioned *two* apps that support google's url
scheme, so not only are you stubbornly refusing to admit *you* were
wrong, but you are also lying. 

furthermore, one of those apps supports *other* maps in addition to
google's maps.

it's not the first time you've ignored facts and sadly, it will not be
the last.
