i've heard of many apps that use google's various apis (not just that
one). 

however, i don't maintain a list of those apps. if you want a list, you
will have to find another source or generate the list yourself. just
because i personally don't keep a list does not mean there are no such
apps. 

you also snipped the part where i said that google's own apps most
likely use it just to argue for the sake of arguing. why else would you
have snipped it?

a map url scheme that has existed for over 2 years from the leading
provider of map data isn't going to be completely ignored by thousands
of developers, particularly with all the backlash over apple's map
data.

nevertheless, you are welcome to do as you always do, and that's
believe whatever you want, despite facts showing otherwise.
