he has complained about it, and also that it doesn't happen in the
first place, which it clearly does unless disabled which is why it
doesn't *for him and not for others.

yet when the user clicks restore, the restore process begins, and when
it completes at some point later in time, the music is on the device.

nobody said otherwise, however, since the music *is* on the computer,
it *is* restored.

obviously if it's not on the computer it can't restore it.

sure, but if they do, they don't get to bitch when they lose data
because something wasn't backed up. it's their choice.
