Ecosystem: "a biological community of interacting organisms and their
physical environment."

To my finely trained ear, describing an interconnected system of
inorganic machines and software as an "ecosystem" is as foul and
pompous a buzzword as I have ever encountered. It's right down there
with "time frame," as in "We expect to have it ready in the March time
frame." Reprehensible, despicable, repugnant, opprobrious, and
iniquitous.

Suggested replacement for the execrable "iTunes ecosystem:" iTunes.
