One person might think that a reasonable testsuite only has to test whether the compiler handles lines up to 512 characters, but tests expression nesting to 256 levels. Another's engineer's reasonable testsuite might have 4095 character lines, but pobe expression nesting to only 32 levels. Test suites contain tests, and test are specific instances of inputs with concrete values of parameters; someone has to decide what they are.
