I don't, but that's not the problem you wanted to solve (check whether
the word is in a specific wordlist), unless I misunderstood your
problem description.
But if you want to find out which wordlist(s) an xt was defined in,
then yes, there is no more efficient way in Gforth than searching all
the wordlists.

As I wrote: A small constant factor. BTW, in Gforth FIND will usually
be more expensive, because it searches several wordlists.

Gforth has >NAME, but no voc-no in headers. And the question was
about the overall speed for the whole macro thing you are trying to
do.

And Gforth doesn't. Instead it xors or adds the wordlist number to
the hash value.
