It is not just semi-colon, but I actually expect every word in the dictionary to have an xt.. I could try ticking every word in the dictionary to see if doing so for any word aborts the system, but this seems rather tedious. I could just assume that anything that WORDS finds must have an xt, but this isn't guaranteed to work. Most likely, the only way to find out if an ANS-Forth compliant system has the bug or not, is to just ask the person who wrote the code --- that would be Stephen Pelc in the case of VFX --- but in the case of Gforth there are a variety of people involved, and it is not clear which ones of them have the authority to say that the bug is there or not. > Section 4.1.2, 5th bullet of the ANS standard states this as an ambiguous condition: - attempting to obtain the execution token, (e.g. with 6.1.0070 ', 6.1.1150 FIND etc) of a definition with undefined interpretation semantics; 6.1.0460 ; First line says: Interpretation: Interpretation semantics for this word are undefined.
