You misunderstand me. It isn't important to tell him he shouldn't want
to do it. It might help to find a solution to his problem if his
purpose was clear to those pondering a solution.
What is the point in offering a possible solution, if the OP's response
is "No, that's not what I want"? As much as I understand he is
concerned about his camera sneaking a duplicate, or two into the frame
set, I am still baffled as to what camera might behave in this way, and
I have been using cameras of various types for some 55+years now. That
includes surveillance cameras. Every frame I have ever seen captured
has been unique, never a duplicate. So there are a few pieces of the
OP's story missing.
Why would he believe his camera is behaving in this odd way?
Why is he uncertain of the originality of each frame?
...and WTF is he going to do with this once he figures it out and comes
up with a result he might be happy with?
