Wohingegen das Folgende ihn mit dt. Gesetzen in Konflikt brächte.

  Everett, der ein starker Trinker, Kettenraucher und in späteren
  Jahren stark übergewichtig war, starb im Schlaf an einem
  Herzinfarkt. Als engagierter Atheist hatte er darum gebeten, dass
  seine sterblichen Überreste nach seinem Tod im Müll entsorgt werden.
  Seine Frau bewahrte seine Asche einige Jahre in einer Urne in einem
  Aktenschrank im Esszimmer auf, bevor sie seinem Wunsch nachkam.
