Ist bei SSDs so eine Geschichte. Da dort (üblicherweise) Blöcke nur als 
"unbenutzt" markiert werden (und nicht physikalisch gelöscht, das ist bei SSDs 
relativ teuer) ist Überschreiben mit 0en nicht unbedingt zielführend bzw. 
verringert die Lebensdauer der SSD.

Die Alternative, Plattenverschlüsselung. Für die Vermutung, dass sich auch die 
NSA an AES die Zähne aus beißt spricht nachwievor einiges. Z.B. bei LUKS langt 
es, den LUKS-Header zu überschreiben, und nach menschlichem Ermessen kommt 
dann niemand mehr an die Daten, da der eigentliche Schlüssel verlustig 
gegangen ist. (Modulo der Probleme mit SSDs von oben.)
