the touchid sensor is separate from the rest of the touchbar, just as
it is on iphones.

apple has said that portables make up around 80% of mac sales.

apple has also said that the new macbook pros are selling very well.

apple won't release an *exact* breakdown, but it's not that hard to
determine a reasonable estimate.

there's no need to guess. 

the iphone 6s at $449 is still available to fill a price gap between
the $349 iphone se and the $549 iphone 7.

nonsense.

the iphone 7 has a *digital* headphone jack *and* comes with headphones
in the box that plug into the bottom, otherwise known as the lightning
port.

there is also quite a bit more in the iphone 7 versus the 6s than just
that, including a faster processor, a wide gamut display, a dual-lens
camera in the + model and haptics.

apps can customize the touchbar, but if they don't, it's no different
than what it would have been with keys.
