Mind you that's better than the JB Hi-Fi stores' free magazine - the New Zealand version copies parts of the Australian one, and the introduction often talks about bits they've cut out or left for a later issue or repeated bits from previous issues (although it does seem to have been better recently). :-\ I think part of MacWorld's problem is that it takes itself far too seriously and is trying (and failing) to be a high-brow, intellectual magazine. MacFormat on the other hand has a sense of humour and fun about it (as did the Amiga Format magazine by the same publishing company - I still have a box load of those in the cupboard). > I'm still a subscriber, but I doubt for much longer. > > > > The UK magazine MacFormat is probably the best Mac magazine. > > http://macformat.com > > > > It does include some iOS reviews and news to some degree, but they > > spun-off a separate magazine called Tap! to be their fully iOS > > magazine. > > Tap! closed down recently. I don't think I've ever seen it in shops here and I've never read it, just the ocassional mention or the free (extract?) early copy in MacFormat. The price depends on exchange rates where you are and whether it's air freighted or sea shipped. My copy of MacFormat at one point was costing NZ$28 per month, but has now dropped down to only NZ$15.
