I've always found MacWorld (US and Australian versions) to be rather
dismal and boring, with far too many adverts and low-quality paper and
style.

The UK magazine MacFormat is probably the best Mac magazine.

It does include some iOS reviews and news to some degree, but they
spun-off a separate magazine called Tap! to be their fully iOS
magazine.

The magazine is available as a hard copy or as an eZine readable on
your Mac (via Zinio.com) or iPad (via the AppStore). It might be
difficult to find in American magazine shops, but you can subscribe.
Subscribers also get access to their PDF archive (although it only goes
back as far as issue 200 and they up to about issue 265).
