But you're not at all surprised by that, since your name, like so many
others in the Western world, comes to you from Hebrew, where the root
is srh, the feminine form of sr, meaning prince, or, in modern Hebrew,
a government minister.

While your name has many variants, in the English-speaking world it is
more often written as Sarah than as Sara. Everyone who has a variant
spelling in their name is doomed to suffer frequent misspellings. I've
been around a bit, so when I encounter a srh I ask "With or without an
aitch?" 

Be glad that you're not an unfortunate American male whose ignoramus
parents liked the sound of the name Sean but didn't have the sense to
learn how to spell the name and saddled the kid with the phonetic
spelling Shawn. That unfortunate name is now so common as to not draw
any notice outside of stickler circles in this era of the accelerating
dumbing of America, but I'm still glad that my parents didn't saddle me
with a name they didn't know how to spell.
