the point you're missing is it doesn't need an actual device to connect
to.

bluetooth has come a long way since bluetooth classic.

it's really entertaining how you think you know every possible way in
which bluetooth can be used.

but if you want it off, turn it off. nobody is stopping you. just don't
bitch when things don't work properly. don't expect battery life to
change either. it won't.
