It echoes only the last character, and it seems that this is all that has been entered because it doesn't give me access. From other comments, it sounds as if this is a bug with Zyxel routers. I've got used to right-clicking on the password field, selecting "Manage Passwords", seeing the saved password entry for the router's IP address and copying the saved password, then go back to logon screen and Ctrl-V to paste in the password, and press Login. Takes longer to type than to do it. (These instructions are for Firefox.)
