You need to make sure your data is stored in a secure way and with multiple(!) backups in case a file gets deleted or modified unintentionally and you realize this only a few weeks later when you need it. That's the reason, why I have *all* data on servers (which have of course also a backup) and use my mobile devices only as local "cache". My backups are done daily with a deduplicating tool (Borg Backup) which keeps all changes from the last 6 months without requiring a lot of extra storage for this. -- Arno Welzel https://arnowelzel.de
