I spoke of Saberin. Let me add this also. The armed Kord terrorists on
Iran's western and northwestern borders have a long history of
activities. Large scale attacks on their part on local and national
government of Iran have not been very difficult for Iran to handle, but
every effort she had made to root them out from those mountains had
failed. And I mean decades of effort.
The reason was that they enjoyed extremely difficult to reach, let alone
discover, hideouts on the mountains that they always returned to safely
and stayed safe and sound in them. They'd rest, then rearmed and
regrouped and yet another successful sabotage against the government
would be underway. This went on for decades.
The military got tired of it and just stopped going after them. From
then on, military's position was purely defensive (but quite effective
in large scale wars with them).
Then the Militia took up the job. After studying them from every angle,
created the Saberin force about 20 years back. Saberin was the only
force in the history of Iran that managed to fully clean up all such
hideouts, including a notoriously deadly area high up where many of
those hideouts where located. For the latter, Saberin suffered 13 martyrs.
This achievement made a sensation in Iran and firmly established Saberin
as an integral part of the Militia's ground force. The armed Kord
terrorists inside Iraq thus suffered a great blow in the effectiveness
of their operations, after their needed accommodations on the Iranian
side of the border were destroyed. And of course they never gained it back.
Anyway, the report I read and mentioned in the last blog looks very much
like an operation that Saberin would undertake, not the military.
Military in Iran is there for huge wars. Big jobs. Large expensive
operation involving a huge number of soldiers. I don't know of a unit in
them that could do the job in the report. Perhaps they have such units
but I'm not aware of it and have never heard of one.
Militia's first ever war was in fact in those same areas of Iran right
after the revolution. Those who participated are all old now but the
know-how is there. I think this is why they could create just the right
force for that area of Iran.
A Militia figure: "We have not forgotten the matter of Ukraine."
So far haven't heard of an attack from US forces on Iran.
New much better satellite images of Yanbo shows Houthis missiles are
truly pinpoint accurate. They also show the strategy that Houthis have
adopted. They have not hit the most sensitive facilities, and it is
obvious that they decided to keep them as deterrent against future Saudi
attacks. And sure enough no attacks from Saudis after that has been made
against Yemen.
When asked by a major reporter (Iranian) what the Militia considers Iran
to be, compared to world powers, a top figure in the Militia said:
"We are aiming at the fourth position from the top."

Hehe :) He didn't say she is already there, but did say she will be
there. Militia does not bullshit. It is not an easy road to get there,
but at least the Militia thinks she can get there.
And from this single paragraph above, you can see that Iran's matter of
nukes is already a no-brainer. You can't be a nuclear power armed
country, and be willing to be the fourth power in the world.
So I don't know what the hell it is that India and Pakestan and Britain
Bitch and Germany and France and you name it are talking about, but
Iran, according to the Militia, will get ahead of all of them.
I think education has had and will have the greatest role. Iranians
level of education has risen significantly and is still accelerating
upward. And highly educated people can achieve their objectives. And
these objectives accumulate to transform the country.
One example of it is this: Iran has now become the country to which West
Asians fly to for receiving top medical treatments. When I was in Iran,
before 1978, Iranians were flying to Israel to get their most difficult
surgeries done. After the revolution, I was told (by my family) that
Iranians were now flying to London for hardest surgeries.
Now, no Iranian is leaving the country for any type of surgery and any
treatment :) Everything medical is done inside Iran at world-class
level. All metal joint prosthesis, joint implants, bypass surgeries,
even successful treatment of Huntington's Disease (using stem cells) are
all done in Iran and have quite a lot of non-Iranian customers from
outside Iran.
The medical field in Iran has exploded in size, reach, and quality. When
Covid hit, Iran produced 9 different vaccines for it earlier than other
countries in the world, saving millions of Iranians.
The medical field is still number one sought after field in university
entrance exams. Even when I was studying physics in Tehran University,
starting in 1972, at the beginning of the second year of it we noticed
that a number of last year's students had applied and passed exams and
had transferred themselves to the medical school of the university :)
These students, mainly for the nostalgia of it, would every now and then
come to physics department to talk (especially with girls) to physics
students who remembered them from the first year, renewing sweet memories.
One of them, a thin very tall guy, even asked me a couple of times to
take the exams and come to medical school :) Hehe :)

He didn't know what kind of beast he was talking to. If only he knew how
I looked at a field other than physics, he'd make no such recommendations.
Physics came first in the list of my needs. And in those days I had not
had enough of it yet. I couldn't even look at a page of a university
text that was not about physics. Let alone reading it! If it was not
physics, it was pure garbage, the most idiotic waste of humankind's
time. You literally could not make me read that page if you held a gun
at my head. It was like premature death.
Imagine, when you were drinking cold water in a vast hot desert in the
shadow of a tree, someone invited and encouraged you to chew and eat the
hot dirt instead..
Of course I wouldn't tell him so, but I sharply remember my feelings
when he'd suggest that to me. He seriously tried a bit to encourage me a
couple of times.
Even now, after throwing away my physics degree 40 years back, Nobody
could make me switch the life I've had with one in which I'd get had I
followed his advice. Compared to physics, everything else is nonsense.
Waste of life. I had to have the physics first before anything else in
the world be worth knowing. It all came only after I had already a good
amount of physics under my belt.
