Quite. v1 = v2. > The acceleration/the > second derivative - is independent on > that. Independent of what? If v1 = v2, then dv1/dt = dv2/dt and a1 = a2. So you have proved that according to Newton co-moving objects will stay co-moving if and only if the accelerations of the bodies are equal. So you have shown mathematically that you were wrong when you claimed that co-moving objects absolutely can have different acceleration. Well done! :-D > In NM with different accelerations they will > soon stop being co-moving, sure. So you know that you were wrong when you claimed that co-moving objects can absolutely have different accelerations. Why do you keep claiming what you know is wrong? > But The Shit > of your idiot guru allows them to be co-moving > for a long time. So you claim that according to Einstein co-moving objects may have different accelerations? You should stop playing with that gun! :-D >>> >>> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell%27s_spaceship_paradox >> >> So you think that Bell's spaceship paradox prove that >> two comoving objects can have different acceleration! >> >> Which foot did you hit this time? :-D >> >> "Bell's spaceship paradox" is that if two initially >> co-moving spaceships with a distance between them >> begin accelerating at the same acceleration, then the >> distance between them increases, a string between them >> will break and they are no more co-moving. > > Sorry, trash - of course they are. > The distance between them increases, you say? Yes. That's why the string breaks. > in their own frame, not in the frame they're > co-moving. Yes, in the inertial frame where the spaceships initially are stationary, they will stay co-moving when they simultaneously start accelerating at the same rate. Exactly as predicted by NM. But the string between the ships is a physical object, and when the string breaks it can only mean that the _real_ (proper) distance between the ships increases. According to SR the spaceships can not stay co-moving whether their accelerations are equal or different. And you claim that according to SR the accelerating spaceships may stay co-moving for a long time. :-D Your reasoning is breath taking. > And how about another case? I will address your 'another case' in a separate post. -- Paul https://paulba.no/
