Hallo zusammen!

Ich habe hier ein Intel D525MW. Das ist von 2011 - EFI wurde damals bei 
x86-64 eingeführt und man merkt, dass das nicht ausgereift ist.

Der Speicher für EFI-Variablen - u.a. die Bootloader und die MOK-Keys - 
ist da sehr knapp bemessen.

:~$ df -h /sys/firmware/efi/efivars
Filesystem      Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
efivarfs         16K  9.9K  1.1K  91% /sys/firmware/efi/efivars

Das wurde mit zum Verhängnis. Auf aktuellen Boards sind das 128K.
Es konnte kein neuer Booteintrag erstellt werden, musste ich aber, weil 
ich die Platte tauschen wollte und sich dann die PARTUUID geändert hat 
(will man so).

Dieser efivars-Speicher war voll. Der dickste Brocken waren MOK - die 
brauche ich aber nicht. Löschen ging (nach Entfernen des immutable-Bit), 
aber der Speicher wurde dadurch nicht frei. SecureBoot kann das Teil 
wohl eh nicht.

Nach Neustart war der Speicher dann wirklich frei.
Warum ist das so?

df funktioniert hier, du aber nicht.
Ist das ein Bug oder Feature?
