Und der Stick mit dem Du probiert hast bootet auf einem anderen
Rechner mit aktivem CSM ("CSM only" oder wie das heißt, damit nicht
aus Versehen doch per UEFI von dem Stick gebootet wird) problemlos?
Hast Du mal mit "Secure Boot UND CSM aus" und einem UEFI-Stick
probiert?

P.S.: grml.iso kann sowohl mit CSM als auch ohne CSM booten, das
Bootmenü sieht dann jeweils anders aus. Aber Secure Boot kann grml.iso
nicht.
