completely wrong. ssd is much, much faster. the difference is
staggering.

no, they're not used in servers because the network is often the
bottleneck and the extra speed from an ssd won't matter all that much.

another reason is that servers generally have a *lot* of storage and
that can get very expensive with ssd.

hard drives also wear out. nothing lasts forever. however, ssd will
outlast a hard drive.

nonsense.

if an ssd (or hard drive) has failed for whatever reason and there is
no backup, send it to a recovery company.

however, it's much better and a *lot* cheaper to make backups, whether
it's a hard drive or ssd.
