Stick to spelling and grammar. > you didn't work out Sergio's little physics problem This is so trivial if you weren't a journalist you'd have the answer. Look, as a scientist (yes it's true) I'll give you a hint. The asteroid is 10 million miles away traveling at 20,000 miles per hour. So divide 10 million miles by 20,000 mile/hour and get 500 hours. Bonus points. 24 hours in a day so you have a little less than 21 days to get the rockets off to do something. But wait. The earth's gravity will start accelerating the asteroid toward the planet as it gets closer. So tell us just how much our 21 days are reduced by this effect? Can't do it? No matter a little bluster and an essay on what a "waste of time" saving your ass is will do instead. Just call me the science guy. See if you would shut your yapping (libs always accuse others of doing what they themselves do) mouth and listen to some knowledge for a change, you'd know a little math and science. We can discuss how doable a launch in 20 days is but we haven't discussed yet WHAT (how much mass) needs to be launched. I"m not going to do that for you because I don't take orders from ignorant journalist-writers, but I assure you the answer is quite interesting. See how enlightening it is when you listen to scientists like Sergio and myself instead of name-calling like some grade-schooler? > **And I have no intention of doing so. It's irrelevant. And Sergio still > can't use the international scientific units of measurements. And you can't even divide two numbers! Oh I forgot, nobody uses math after they graduate from high school. >> of how much warning time one might have. Cat got your science tongue? > > **Waste of time on you. You wouldn't understand anyway. Who do you think you are fooling? what kind of drugs are you on? You've just been thoroughly spanked and shown to be ignorant and yet you persist in your fantasy that everyone else is stupid? Get a life and get meds.
